Role Description This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer role based in Bankstown, NSW, offered on a hybrid arrangement with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Mechanical

Engineer will develop and review mechanical designs for building services across residential, industrial, commercial, mixed-use, health and education sectors. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating drawings, performing calculations, supporting R&D; activities, and contributing to technical documentation and reports. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders,



assisting in project planning, monitoring progress against timelines, and ensuring designs meet regulatory, safety, and sustainability requirements.

The Mechanical

Engineer will also support site visits, participate in design reviews, and help implement continuous improvement in engineering practices.

Qualifications
Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of building services and infrastructure systems.
Proficiency in building services Design including ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings and models.
Experience or capability in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and tracking deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional accreditation or eligibility is an advantage.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with relevant Australian standards, codes, and safety regulations; prior experience in consulting or construction is beneficial.
