The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, this role sits within our Mainland Centre of Expertise and supports the performance and governance of our shared services partnership with Accenture.
Working closely with both internal stakeholders and offshore teams, you will help ensure agreed service levels are achieved, governance activities are completed effectively, and performance outcomes are monitored and reported.
You will play a key role in maintaining a strong working relationship with Accenture while helping to identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency.
This role is best suited to someone who has worked within a shared services or outsourced services environment and understands the day-to-day mechanics of managing service performance, governance processes and provider relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor and report on service delivery performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs
Support governance forums and performance review meetings with Accenture and key business stakeholders
Track service issues, performance trends and improvement opportunities
Assist with the preparation of performance reports, presentations and business updates
Support management of contract obligations, commercial reconciliations and billing activities
Maintain governance documentation and ensure accurate reporting records
Coordinate and follow up actions arising from governance meetings and service reviews
Work closely with Accenture and internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in evaluating change requests and service enhancements
Build effective working relationships across the shared services network
About You
You have experience working within a shared services, outsourcing or business process outsourcing (BPO) workplace and are comfortable engaging with offshore service providers.
You are organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into meaningful insights.
Most importantly,
you understand how shared service partnerships operate and can effectively support service performance and governance activities.
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:
Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline
Experience working within a shared services, outsourced services or BPO environment
Exposure to managing or supporting relationships with offshore service providers
Previous experience working with Accenture highly regarded
Experience supporting service performance, governance, contract administration or vendor management activities
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Knowledge of finance operations, shared services or business process outsourcing models desirable
