Role Description The position supports Air Force Capability across both strategic and deployed operations and encompasses management of key engineering processes required for the day-to-day management of RAAF warfighter systems.

Indicative Services / Tasks
Plan and deliver system safety engineering services, regulatory compliance, resource management and project outcomes.
Coordinate, direct and evaluate system safety activities in a CLC workplace.
Conduct capability and concept development within the IC3SPO and CAF16 system safety program.
Conduct system safety analysis, development and V&V.;
Provide advice and guidance on system safety engineering analysis techniques, processes and software assurance.
Conduct reviews of contract deliverables.

Contract documentation, plans and reports.

The engineer will also evaluate technical and design packages from a safety perspective, follow CASG and SPO strategic safety direction and exercise assigned Technical Authority delegations.

Qualifications
Engineers Australia Skilled Engineering Stage 2 competencies.
Four-year engineering degree (AQF Level 7) in a relevant discipline recognised under the Washington Accord.
Chartered Qualified Engineer or equivalent.
Minimum one year's experience within a materiel system safety program.
