About the role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Packers to join our bakery production team. This hands-on role involves slicing, packing and labelling bakery products, accurately picking customer orders, and helping ensure all products are prepared and dispatched to the highest quality and food safety standards. Shifts commence at 2:30pm, so applicants must be available to start at this time. Typical shifts are 8 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid break.
Additional hours may occasionally be required to complete production and dispatch requirements.
Key responsibilities
Slice, pack and label bread, pastries, muffins and slices
Pick and pack customer orders accurately and on time
Complete HACCP and packing documentation
Prepare cartons and packaging for dispatch
End-of-day cleaning and reporting
Follow WHS, HACCP and GMP requirements
Liaise with production and distribution teams as needed
Skills & experience
Previous packing or food production experience preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and time management
Ability to perform manual handling tasks
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Availability for afternoon to evening shifts, including weekends
Ability to work in a quick-paced production setting
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
