Role Description This full time Machine Operator role at Rotapro is an on-site position located in the Southern Suburbs, Lonsdale.

The Machine

Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing machinery to meet production schedules and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include loading materials, performing basic machine adjustments, using hand tools for minor maintenance, and completing routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning correctly. The role also involves following work instructions, completing production documentation, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to resolve issues promptly. Adherence to safety procedures, quality requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives is expected as part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications
Robust machine operation skills, including experience with manufacturing machinery and understanding of basic machine settings and controls.
Drivers license and car. Location is not convenient to public transport.




Physically fit - Able to lift 25 kilo
Knowledge of quality control practices and ability to carry out inspections, measurements, and checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Proficiency in working with machinery and hand tools for minor adjustments, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, production teams, and maintenance personnel.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly regarded.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Willingness to work in a team workplace and adapt to changing production requirements.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills to read work orders, enter production data, and understand technical information.
