Delta T Technologies, a local business at Smithfield Cairns, is looking for a Labourer to join their team for an immediate start.

The successful applicant must be reliable, able to follow directions and work unsupervised if required. Previous experience in labouring and general workshop duties would be advantageous.

Applicants must be able to handle the physical aspects of the role.

The duties for this role include:

Dismantling of heat exchangers

Water blasting

Heat exchanger assembly

Pressure testing

Own transport is required to and from place of employment. Applicants must have a Driver’s Licence. Forklift licence is advantageous.

Regular drug screening will be conducted to ensure a protected and drug-free workplace.

Permanent residents will only be accepted - do not apply if on a temporary Visa.

The position is Casual to begin, working Monday to Friday, and as required. If applicant progresses well in the role, this could lead to full time employment.

Position is covered under Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010.
