About the Role

We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join the Organics section at our contemporary, NATA-accredited laboratory in Croydon South, Melbourne. This role involves preparing and analysing samples. It requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.

Responsibilities
Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, perform organic analysis with wet chemistry.
Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
Documentation:



Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

About You The ideal candidate will possess:
A degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to maintain competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, 'can-do' attitude
Strong teamwork skills
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
