We're looking for a fun, caring and enthusiastic Assistant Educator to join our Thrive Drysdale team!
We're looking for someone who loves jumping in and making every day memorable - whether that's getting messy with the children, exploring the outdoors, bringing creative experiences to life or simply sharing plenty of laughs along the way. You'll be part of a supportive and welcoming team, helping to create a warm, engaging workplace where every child feels secure, connected, confident and excited to learn.
About The Role We are looking for a Certificate III qualified Educator to join a Thrive room team. You will work alongside experienced educators to deliver programs that support each child's learning, and to give every child individual attention, comfort and a real sense of belonging.
What you will do
Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of educational programs aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework
Record observations of children to support program planning
Implement daily care routines and maintain a protected, healthy environment
Support the inclusion of children with additional needs, children with disabilities, Aboriginal children and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
Build warm,
respectful relationships with children and families
Work in line with the National Quality Framework, food safety requirements and Thrive's policies
About The Candidate
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, ACECQA approved, or actively working towards it
A current Working with Children Check for the state the role is based in
Current First Aid qualification
Skills, knowledge and training in food safety and hygienic food handling
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current practice in early childhood
