Already working in IT support and ready for more?

This could suit a strong Level 1.5 technician looking to step up, or an established Level 2 wanting broader exposure, better mentoring and the chance to keep developing.

Good IT fundamentals are significant, but so is attitude. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and working with clients, is proactive, keen to learn and wants to be part of a team that shares knowledge.

About the Role

Based in the Townsville office, the role supports a mix of local and Australia-wide clients across their day-to-day IT environments.

The work covers Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, backups, security and cloud environments. You’ll manage your own tickets, solve what’s within your capability and have experienced technical people around you when it’s time to escalate.

And it’s not all day-to-day service desk work. There’s exposure to interesting projects, implementations and different client environments, giving you the opportunity to build your technical capability as you go.

What Are We Looking For?

Around two years’ experience in IT support,



or a similar multi tenant / multi client setting would be ideal, but capability matters more than a job title.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments is key, along with a good grounding in networking, user administration, troubleshooting and endpoint support.

Exposure to Azure, Intune, Veeam, firewalls, ConnectWise or PowerShell is a bonus, not a checklist. You don’t need to know everything.
