We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver holding a current Car (C Class) Licence to carry out multi-drop deliveries of pallets, skids, and boxed goods across Brisbane Metro locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading freight using a light commercial vehicle, planning effective delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service at each drop-off point. This role suits someone physically fit, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a light commercial vehicle (van/ute/small truck) to deliver pallets, skids, and boxed items to multiple sites across Brisbane Metro
Manually handle freight including loading/unloading using pallet jacks, trolleys,
or manual lifting as required
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet delivery windows
Complete accurate delivery documentation (PODs, manifests, scanning)
Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report any faults
Adhere to WHS, manual handling, and road safety regulations
Requirements:
Current Car (C Class) driver's licence with a clean driving record
Previous delivery/driving experience preferred
Physically fit and able to lift/move boxes and pallets (manual handling)
Valuable knowledge of Brisbane Metro roads/suburbs (or GPS-competent)
Solid time management and communication skills
Forklift licence or pallet jack experience is a plus (not always essential)
