EXPERIENCED BREAKFAST CHEF / CAFÉ COOK WANTED

MONDAY–FRIDAY | DAYTIME HOURS | NO NIGHTS

Olive On Gordon is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef / Café Cook to join our busy, family-owned café in Ormiston.

We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a rapid-paced breakfast kitchen and, after initial training, is capable of working independently and taking ownership of their section.

Experienced in a busy breakfast, café or short-order kitchen
Fast, organised and able to remain calm under pressure
Confident working independently after initial training
Skilled, reliable and polite
Takes pride in food presentation, consistency and cleanliness
Willing to receive feedback and continue learning

Most importantly, you must be open to learning and following our way of doing things.

We have established recipes, systems and standards that are key to our business and to the consistency our customers expect.



We’re looking for someone who respects this and is happy to learn our systems and maintain those standards every service.

THE ROLE

Predominantly Monday to Friday, daytime hours, with occasional Saturdays as required.

No night shifts.

Additional hours/overtime may be available.

REMUNERATION

$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience, with remuneration negotiable for an exceptional candidate.
