UGL’s Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a Senior Piping and Process Designer to support brownfield and asset maintenance projects across fuel terminals and petrochemical facilities.

Working within our PEM&AM; contract, you’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality piping design and P&ID; development, ensuring safe, effective and fit‑for‑purpose outcomes.

This is a casual opportunity (2–3 days per week initially) with flexibility and potential to expand based on project demand.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver mechanical and piping design using AutoCAD & CADWorx (2D/3D)
Draft P&IDs; (critical focus area) using CADWorx P&ID;
Produce GA drawings, isometrics and material take‑offs (MTOs)
Build and coordinate 3D models, including clash detection
Support brownfield projects including tie‑ins, site checks and as‑built updates
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deliverables

About You
8–10+ years’ design & drafting experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or similar




Strong expertise in piping design and P&IDs; (equally important)
Proficient in CADWorx and AutoCAD
Experience in brownfield environments and site‑based verification
Ability to manage stakeholders and work across multiple projects
