genU is looking for engaging Health and Wellbeing Consultant to join the team and support our Matchworks division to provide health & wellbeing support to job seekers from a broad range of backgrounds and abilities.
n
Utilising your specialist skills to provide a person centred you will have a holistic approach whilst supporting clients to improve the management of their mental health in order to facilitate successful engagement with employment.

What you'll do
n
As aHealth & Wellbeing Consultantin our Allied Health team you'll:
n
n
Provide counselling and mental health support to individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
n
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and using short term evidence-based, best practice interventions to assist clients to better manage their health and wellbeing.
n
Create individualised support plans for clients that focus on return to work and assist clients into lasting employment.
n
Refer clients to relevant external health or specialist services as required.
n
Deliver relevant health and wellbeing training to operational staff.
n
Ensure service delivery meets the quality standards outlined in our clinical governance framework.
n
Maintaining efficient accurate record keeping that tracks client progress within ethical and legal standards.
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Caring and empathetic approach
n
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling or other recognised qualification under the Health Professional Award
n
Registration with a professional association, with one of the following regulatory bodies: AHPRA, ACA, ASORC, or AASW.
n
Accredited Mental Health Counsellors, registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
n
n
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
n
n
