THE ROLE
n
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Developer to design, develop, implement, and support SAP-based solutions that meet business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop high-quality SAP applications, integrations, enhancements, and reports across various SAP modules.

The role can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane
n
Key Responsibilities
n
NV1 security clearance is required for this role.
n
n
Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP solutions and custom enhancements.
n
Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.
n
Create and support SAP integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, OData services, and middleware platforms.
n
Develop SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 solutions to enhance user experience.
n
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
n
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SAP applications.
n
Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
n




Collaborate with functional consultants to develop and enhance SAP modules such as FI/CO, PRC, SCM and HCM etc.
n
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.
n
Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and user guides.
n
Provide production support and resolve system incidents within agreed service levels.
n
Ensure compliance with SAP development best practices, security standards, and governance requirements.

ABOUT YOU
n
n
Strong experience in SAP development with CDS views
n
Robust expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
n
Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and HANA database concepts.
n
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
n
Experience with SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs.
n
Familiarity with SAP Gateway and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferred.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
n

Preferred Skills
n
n
SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or SAP BTP.
n
CRM CASE, Workflow, Fiori Development (ABAP backend Fiori) or Adobe
n
Experience with AMDP, and HANA-based development.
n
Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and SAP Solution Manager methodologies.
n
Experience in cloud-based SAP environments and SAP BTP extensions.
n
Understanding of data migration and system integration approaches.
