SmartCare Diagnostics & Urgent Care is a new, purpose-built facility located at the Mater Health Hub in Springfield Central. As our service expands, we are recruiting multiple Radiographers with CT and CTCA experience to join our growing team.

We are offering flexible engagement options, making this an ideal opportunity whether you are seeking a full-time role, part-time flexibility, or casual to complement an existing Monday-Friday position.

The Role
n
You will deliver high-quality CT, X-ray and CTCA imaging across urgent care and cardiac diagnostics, working as part of a genuinely multidisciplinary team.
n
Your key clinical focus will include:
n
n
CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) and cardiac CT imaging
n
Urgent care CT presentations including:
n
Brain CT (including concussion clinic presentations)
n
General urgent and outpatient CT
n
Plain film X-ray for urgent care and outpatient referrals
n
n
You will work side-by-side with Emergency Specialists,



Cardiologists, and Radiologists, supporting rapid, high-quality clinical decision-making in a patient-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform CT and X-ray examinations to a high clinical standard
n
Deliver safe, accurate imaging in accordance with protocols and radiation safety requirements
n
Support cardiac CT services, including CTCA workflows
n
Collaborate closely with Emergency Specialists, Cardiologists, Radiologists, and nursing staff
n
Contribute to workflow development, quality improvement, and service optimisation
n
Maintain equipment, documentation, and compliance standards
n

About You
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
n
Current or eligible Queensland Radiation Use Licence
n
Demonstrated CT experience is essential (cardiac CT / CTCA experience highly regarded)
n
Qualifications as Medical Diagnostic Radiographer (CT / X-ray)
n
Comfortable working in urgent care and fast-paced clinical environments
n
High attention to detail with a robust focus on safety and quality
n
Confident communicator who works well within multidisciplinary teams
n
