What you'll be doing
n
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of all inventory, in accordance with Virgin Tech's policies and procedures.
n
You will provide specialist support to aircraft maintenance and ramp operations teams across warehousing and logistics, tooling and ground support equipment management, training management, maintenance forward planning and resource planning.
n
This role operates on a roster pattern of two days, two nights, then four days off.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Inventory Management: Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Virgin Tech's policies and procedures.
n
Product Handling: Package products following OEM guidelines and manage returns, ensuring everything is in its correct place.
n
Tool and Equipment Management: Process tools, track shelf life, and ensure proper tool handling in line with regulations.
n
Stock Control: Manage inventory locations and help with stocktakes to maintain system accuracy.
n
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all products are stored according to regulations, including hazardous, aeronautical, and commercial goods.

You'll be great in this role if you have...
n
n
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
n
Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
This role is approximately 70% computer-based.
n
Previous experience in warehousing or inventory management is desirable but not essential.
n
A detail-oriented nature and take pride in your work, ensuring everything is accurate and well organised.
n
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills.
n
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern of two days and two nights.
n
Reliable transport, as public transport is not available during shift times.
n
A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
n
n
As part of this role, you are required to ....

Ability to undertake and clear a Medical assessment and DAMP test (at own cost)
n
Ability lift 32kg
n
Hold a valid Driver's License
n
Meet Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) requirements
