The Role

Expressions of interest are invited from engaging and passionate Art Technicians to provide technical support for the Art program.
n
This is a part-time 0.4 ongoing role, commencing as soon as possible in Term 4, ****. Working days are Thursdays and Fridays, 8am-4:06pm during term times, with paid school holidays.

Join our team and play a crucial role in supporting the artistic development of our students. The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Experience preparing documents for prepress, with high attention to detail
n
Experience preparing artwork for displays and exhibits
n
Knowledge of and the ability to work with a broad range of art techniques and processes (eg. ceramics, printmaking)
n
Ability to work independently and manage their time independently
n




Ability to prioritise tasks and activities to meet deadlines with a systematic approach
n
Work effectively and professionally with staff, students, and suppliers
n
An understanding of and commitment to child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children with diverse needs and backgrounds
n
General fitness to enable safe lifting and moving of materials and equipment where required
n
