We're looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed‐term contract based at our Melbourne Head Office.

As our Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across the AVC Group throughout this 6‐month contract period.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
Processing supplier invoices through our AP invoicing system and ERP
n
Troubleshooting and resolving issues arising from the scan/capture system
n
Preparing regular supplier reconciliations, particularly for high-volume vendors
n
Responding to queries and payment requests from internal and external stakeholders
n
Preparing EFT payment runs on a bi‐weekly basis
n
Supporting the Accounts Payable Manager with ad‐hoc AP tasks
n

What We're Looking For

n

n




Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role
n
Solid understanding of AP systems, processes and high-volume processing
n
Advanced MS Excel skills and robust overall Microsoft Suite competency
n
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a busy inbox
n
A proactive, positive attitude and confidence to make decisions
n
Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Finance (desired but not essential)
