The Role
Administers the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act **** and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations **** as an Inspector of Mines.
Assists the leadership team in developing policies, guides, strategies, and technical materials to support effective safety compliance.
Undertakes regulatory activity, including investigations, relating to sensitive and complex health and radiation safety matters.
Leads complex workplace investigations with thorough analysis, impartial decisions, and regulatory compliance.
Leads expert advisory coordination on critical health and safety matters in the resources sector.
Develops, implements, and monitors performance measures to improve health and safety outcomes.
Guides industry, government, and other stakeholders to advance WorkSafe Group's objectives and enhance regulatory confidence.
