Administration and Customer Service Officer

We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an Administration & Customer Service Officer based at our Kalgoorlie depot.

n

This role provides both customer service and administrative support within a busy transport and logistics environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Provide administrative support to the Kalgoorlie depot team.
n
Deliver high-quality customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
n
Manage incoming customer enquiries in a qualified and timely manner.
n
Coordinate with drivers, operations, and internal teams to support smooth daily freight movements.
n
Track and update consignment information using internal systems.
n
Assist with POD (Proof of Delivery) processing and basic freight reconciliation.
n
Support escalation handling for delayed, missing, or damaged freight.
n
Maintain accurate records and data entry across operational systems.
n
Assist with scheduling and prioritising urgent customer requests.
n
Ensure compliance with company procedures, chain of responsibility, and safety requirements.
n




Identify and elevate service or operational issues to supervisors.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service processes.
n

About You

n

n
Previous customer service and/or office administration experience (transport/logistics preferred).
n
Robust communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
n
Confident problem solver with the ability to manage queries and resolve issues.
n
High attention to detail.
n
Commitment to safety and following secure work practices.
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
n
