Field Operations Rigger | Telecommunications Infrastructure
Are you an experienced Telecommunications Rigger who enjoys working in the field and being hands-on with critical network infrastructure?
We are seeking a skilled Field Operations Rigger to support the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and repair of telecommunications sites across fixed and mobile networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, rigging, maintenance, and upgrade of telecommunications infrastructure
Tower climbing and work-at-heights activities
Maintenance of antennas, feeders, cabling, earthing, grounding, and power systems
Support network optimization and site upgrade projects
Preventative and corrective maintenance on telecom sites and associated infrastructure
Generator installation, operation, monitoring, and backup power management
Fault-finding, troubleshooting, and emergency site restoration activities
Accurate completion of site documentation, maintenance reports, and fault reports




Spare parts and inventory management
Adherence to safety regulations, maintenance windows, and quality standards
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in telecommunications rigging and tower climbing
Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed telecommunications infrastructure
Experience with generators, rectifiers, batteries, and power systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of WHS requirements, electrical safety, and working-at-heights procedures
Robust attention to detail and documentation skills
Required Certifications:
Telecommunications Rigging Certification (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced)
Working at Heights Certification
Construction White Card
Valid Driver's Licence
