About the role

This is a full time, in office A-Grade Electrician role within the mechanical electrical sector. The electrician will install electrical systems associated with HVAC, VRF/VRV, air handling units, chilled and hot water plants, pumps and motorised valves on high-density residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Wire and connect MSSB
Integrate electrical components into BMS
Perform testing and commissioning
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
Diagnose faults in electrical systems
Collaborate with project managers and site teams
Document work carried out on installations such as stair pressurisation systems, lobby tempering, carpark ventilation and pool heating

About you
Solid foundation in BMS / DDC and mechanical electrical
Competence in installation of electrical components associated with VRF/VRV, air handling units, pumps, boilers and ventilation




Proficient troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in complex, integrated mechanical-electrical setups
Valid A-Grade Electrician licence and understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and BMS integration documentation
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers and other trades
