Are you an experienced Mining Engineer looking for a senior technical role without having to base yourself permanently on site or in a major capital city?

Vantage Mining Solutions is looking for a Principal Mining Engineer to join our team, based in our Maroochydore office on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

n

We're looking for an experienced mining skilled who can bring together strong technical mine planning capability and practical operational understanding.

n

You'll work across a range of client projects and operations, with responsibility for areas including:

Mine design, scheduling and optimisation
n
Life-of-mine planning and strategic studies
n
Technical reviews and operational improvement
n
Production forecasting and scenario analysis
n
Working directly with clients, mine management and technical teams
n
Providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

You'll be an experienced mining engineer with significant mine planning experience in the Australian mining industry, ideally operating at Senior, Principal or equivalent level.

n

Just as importantly,



you'll be someone who can work autonomously, take ownership of technical deliverables, communicate confidently with clients and develop solutions that work in an operational environment — not just on paper.
