The Dev/Tech (Principal) Lead owns theend-to-end technical architecture and engineering standardsfor business‐critical digital platforms.
This role is ahands-on technical leadership position, not a people‐only lead, responsible for ensuring solutions aresecure, scalable, cloud-native, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Architectural Leadership
Drivearchitecture and design decisionsaligned with business outcomes.
Define and enforcereusable design patterns and frameworks.
ApplyDomain-Driven Design (DDD)principles.
Ensuresecurity by design, scalability, and resilience.
Lead and reviewfeature-level technical designs.
Drive adoption ofmodern engineering frameworks and practices.
Lead complex internal and external system integrations.
Remain hands-on where needed across backend, frontend, cloud, and CI/CD.
Cloud, DevOps & Automation
Architect and optimizemulti-cloud solutions (AWS & Azure).
Define and governCI/CD standards and reusable pipelinesin GitLab.
Mentor teams onIaC best practices using Terraform.
Establish release management governance.
Observability, Performance & Cost
Establishobservability frameworks(logging, monitoring, alerting).
Monitor performance, reliability, and availability usingcloud-native monitoring services.
Drivecost optimization, capacity monitoring,



and performance tuning.
Automate operational and service management tasks.
Quality, Testing & Frontend Leadership
Define testing strategies across unit, integration, and E2E testing.
Ensure testing is embedded in CI/CD.
Oversee advanced frontend practices includingReact optimization and Module Federation.
Enforce accessibility and quality standards.
Data & Platform Design
Relational vs NoSQL selection.
Normalized and denormalized schema design.
Sharding and partitioning for NoSQL where applicable.
EnsureHA/DR, scalability, and resilience.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as aTechnical Lead / Principal Engineerin cloud-native platforms.
Deep expertise in:
.NET
ReactJS
Terraform
Solid DevOps mindset with hands-on CI/CD experience.
Ability to mentor Senior and Junior engineers at a technical level.
Strong understanding ofservice management, automation, and operations.
Must performDev Lead or Tech Lead duties, not just coordination.
Must be capable of delivering architecture and designswithout client FTE dependency.
Accountable for solution quality, performance, cost, and operational readiness.
Acts as thetechnical authorityfor the delivery.
