We're looking for a Deputy Residential Manager to join an 83-bed residential aged care home in Young, working alongside an established Residential Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator.

The home has just come through a full refresh: recent paint, current flooring, new curtains, current hand washing stations and updated furniture throughout. You'd be walking into a well-resourced site with a settled leadership team already in place, not one you're trying to stabilise from scratch.

What you'll be doing
Be the trusted second-in-charge, keeping shifts running with consistency and calm
Monitor and review individualised care plans across the home
Provide a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, including handovers and mealtimes
Mentor, coach, and support the care team day-to-day
Liaise with doctors, hospitals, families and regulatory bodies to support continuity of care
Support rosters, budgets, procurement, and cost containment at site level




Provide hands-on clinical input for residents with complex needs (if you're an RN DRM)

What you'll bring
Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care or a related health setting
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or relieving leadership role
Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Nursing, or a Nursing degree with current AHPRA registration if you're coming in as an RN DRM
First Aid Certificate with CPR
A solid understanding of aged care regulatory and funding frameworks
Strong documentation, audit prep and reporting skills
The ability to stay calm and transparent-headed when things get busy
