Our client is a large, established organisation operating within the construction and infrastructure sector, with a complex workforce and enterprise technology environment. They are seeking an experienced Senior People Systems Analyst to provide specialist support across their payroll systems landscape.

About the Role

As the Senior Systems Analyst, you will act as a key SME for Chris21, providing day-to-day support, maintenance, configuration and administration of the platform. Working closely with the payroll team and IT stakeholders, you will ensure the system remains reliable, effective and aligned with business requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:
Maintain, configure and upgrade the Chris21 platform
Configure Chris21 to support payroll and EBA requirements
Manage and support integrations with surrounding systems
Investigate and resolve Chris21 application issues
Conduct unit testing and support Payroll through UAT
Analyse leave, payslip and payroll-related system queries
Maintain integration and system documentation




Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Coordinate system changes with internal IT teams and vendors

About You

You will be an experienced Payroll Systems, HRIS or People Systems professional with solid hands-on Chris21 expertise. Importantly, you will have experience beyond simply using the platform, with demonstrated capability in Chris21 configuration, administration and application support.

You will bring:
Solid hands-on Chris21 configuration and administration experience
Good understanding of Australian payroll processes and requirements
Experience configuring EBAs, awards or complex payroll rules
Experience supporting Chris21 integrations and system upgrades
Robust troubleshooting and application support capabilities
Experience with system testing, UAT and change implementation
Ability to work closely with Payroll, IT and external vendors
Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
