Job Description

Thornton Engineering in Geelong, Australia, is seeking a Robotic Operator for the afternoon shift to work with a large dual-robot tandem arc gantry system on heavy plate and structural steel projects. Training is provided; progression to sole operator on afternoons after initial learning, with support from a skilled team.

You will learn the system under Robotic Welding Programmers, perform setup and maintenance, and ensure high-quality welds while following AS1554 standards and safety protocols.
