Working as part of a busy payroll function, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while providing support across a variety of payroll activities, compliance requirements and process improvement initiatives.

About the role:
End-to-end processing of payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
Reviewing and validating timesheets and payroll data.
Maintaining employee records and payroll information.
Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation.
Responding to employee and manager payroll queries.
Payroll reconciliations,



reporting and compliance activities.
Supporting payroll audits and legislative requirements
Assisting with process improvement and system enhancement projects
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

About you:

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have
Previous payroll experience, ideally within a high-volume or fast-paced environment
Previous experience in the mining or construction industry is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
Experience working with Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
Exposure to payroll and HRIS systems
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Intermediate Excel skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
