About Our Client

This retail organisation is one of Australia's most recognised brands, with a robust presence across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Tullamarine, the business continues to evolve and requires an experienced Accountant to provide immediate support during a key period for the finance team.

Job Description
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity
Assist with statutory compliance and audit requirements
Manage accounting activities across multiple entities
Process and reconcile foreign currency transactions
Maintain and utilise MYOB for financial reporting and transactional processing
Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting
Support process improvement initiatives and finance projects as required
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information

The Successful Applicant




CA or CPA qualified (essential) and experience as a Financial Accountant
Robust MYOB experience (essential)
Proven experience working in a multi-entity workplace
Demonstrated experience managing multi-currency transactions and reporting
Solid reconciliation, reporting, and month-end accounting skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Retail, wholesale, or consumer products experience will be highly regarded
Available to start immediately
