Theposition:
Evaluate students' skills to create a flexible, individualised curriculum in Psychology that addresses their specific needs andgoals.
Implement learning programs based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhanceengagement and understanding.
Continuously refine teachingstrategies and activities using student feedback and assessmentdata to improve lesson plans anddelivery.
Developstudent-centredactivities that promote exploration andinnovation in product design, encouraging practical applicationof theoretical knowledge.
Sethighexpectationstocreate a safe, inclusive, andsupportiveclassroomculture, fostering creativity andproblem-solving.
Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar Schoolvaluesandbehaviours.
Skills andExperience:
Demonstrated experienceinteachingVCEPsychologyat Secondary yearlevels.
Genuine enthusiasm for teachingand commitment to students' academic and personalgrowth
Goodcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoexplaincomplexdesignconceptseffectivelyandengagewithstudents,colleagues,and parents.
Committed toongoingprofessionaldevelopment, keeping up-to-date with currenttrends in Psychology, and maintaining a proactiveattitude.
Holds a Teaching Qualificationand specialised qualifications in Psychology or relatedfields.
