We're currently recruiting for a
Contract Administrator
to join a growing organisation delivering projects across the infrastructure and construction sector.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, offering the opportunity to take ownership of post-award contract administration across major projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Administer head contracts throughout the post-award project phase
Prepare payment schedules and manage variations, amendments and deadlines
Draft and manage Notices of Variation, Notices of Delay and contractual correspondence
Assist with drafting, negotiating and executing subcontract agreements and departures
Manage subcontractor claims, commercial compliance and accurate contract records
Skills and Requirements
Contract administration experience within construction, civil infrastructure, rail, transport, utilities, resources, defence, engineering or other project-based industries




Robust knowledge of head contracts and subcontract administration, including variations, progress claims, payment schedules, delays and contractual notices
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret contracts, identify risks, manage deadlines and draft contractual correspondence
Tier 1 experience is highly regarded; candidates from Tier 2 contractors, specialist subcontractors, FRP, residential construction or similarly complex contracting environments are also encouraged to apply
