n
n
Operate Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Bridge Maintenance team based in Bega
n
Undertake labouring and manual handling tasks for a variety of bridges and culverts across the district at a sub-trade level when not operating the Truck
n
Undertake a range of functions relating to maintaining timber, steel and concrete bridges, including assisting other trades and painting when required
n
In addition to the above, the trucks operated by this position may include water tankers and Flocon Trucks (asphalt transport) and operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane
n
Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
n
Be prepared to camp way and travel across the region when required
n




Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
n
Work a 9 Day Fortnight

About You
n
We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees.
n
Essential Licenses and Tickets:
n
n
White Card
n
MR Driver Licence
n
Traffic control certifications (Implement Traffic Control/Prepare Work Zone) - Our willing to obtain
n
n
Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
n
You will live within 100km radius of the Bega works depot
n
Whilst not essential, experience in operating plant (excavator, bobcat, front end loader and backhoe) is advantageous.
