About the role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner with a robust eye for detail to join our Cairns-based team immediately. This position offers flexibility and variety, with work available across multiple sites throughout Cairns.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a commercial cleaning capacity, have high level cleaning standards and take pride in their work. They will have the ability to use initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision in an effective and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting,
Carry out housekeeping duties including preparing rooms, changing linen, replenishing amenities,




Ensuring public areas are presented to a high standard,
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to a high standard,
Empty bins and manage waste disposal appropriately,
Restock cleaning supplies and report low stock levels,
Follow daily task lists and instructions provided,
Ensure all sites are maintained in a safe, hygienic, and presentable condition,
Use cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance issues or hazards,
Work across multiple sites in Cairns with flexibility in shifts and tasks,
Uphold workplace health and safety standards at all times,
Provide friendly and professional service when working in client settings.

Ideal candidate
Previous cleaning experience is mandatory, preferably in a commercial workplace,
Must have a current valid driver's licence and own vehicle,
Ability to take direction and work efficiently,
High attention to detail,
Able to multi-task, prioritise, work to deadlines and work unsupervised,
