About The Opportunity
n
Fronditha Care aims to ensure the elderly are able to live in a residential facility and be supported by those who share their language, history, religious values, attitudes, rituals, celebrations, music and food. Presently, we have a need for Personal Care Workers to support our elderly at our St Albans facility.

The Day-to-day Responsibilities
n
n
Providing personal care to our elderly
n
Assisting with activities of daily living
n
Mobility assistance
n
Assistance with eating and drinking
n
Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
n
Observing the conditions of our elderly and reporting any concerns
n
Encourage care recipients to make their own decisions
n




Respite Care – companionship and conversation
n

About The Role
n
n
A Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing (minimum qualification)
n
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field.
n
Previous experience in providing personal care services in an Aged Care Facility or in Home & Community Care
n
A team-oriented attitude, empathy and problem-solving skills
n
Commitment to deliver quality care to our elderly
n
Bilingual proficiency - fluent in English and Greek
n
Must have full working rights in Australia
n
n
Fronditha Care values the health and safety of all our people. As such, a condition of your employment is that you will be required to undergo vaccinations as per government directive and as per the Fronditha Care policy. A current police check will also be required.
