Current Leaf Dietetics is a growing private practice with our primary clinic located in Applecross. We're a team of 5 experienced dietitians providing high quality nutrition and dietetics care to all ages. We're expanding to a new, purpose built clinic in Applecross and looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced receptionist who is warm and approachable, good communication and customer service skills, work autonomously at times, can multi task, confident learning and adapting to a recent system. The successful applicant will have experience working in an allied health environment with a high level of understand of Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private health insurance billing requirements. Experience using Halaxy or Splose is also highly desirable.
Key responsibilities
Data entry for recent referrals.
Booking clients.
Taking payments or invoicing the relevant organisation.
Greeting clients
Managing and following up rescheduled bookings.
Small cleaning tasks at times (vacuuming, washing up, leaf blowing, ensure bathroom remains clean between cleaner visits)
Essential skills
Thorough understanding of Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private health insurance billing requirements.
Competent in using practice management software (Halaxy or Splose).
Polite phone manner.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Experience in customer service in a healthcare setting.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs in a growing practice.
A high attention to detail in all areas including cleanliness and presentation.
Non-judgemental and inclusive of a diverse client base and workforce.
Working with children's check.
The right to work in Australia.
Desirable skills
First aid and CPR certificate
Experience establishing a reception team and procedures.
