Fleet Controllers – AM & Night Shift | Chullora NSW

Our Client, a Highly Regarded Transport And Logistics Operator, Is Growing And Currently Has Two Opportunities Available At Their Chullora Depot
n
n
1 x AM Shift – 6:00am–4:00pm
n
1 x PM/Night Shift – 6:00pm–4:00am
n
n
Experienced Fleet Controllers are encouraged to apply; however, our client is also willing to train and upskill the right person, particularly for the night shift.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate daily fleet and container movements
n
Allocate jobs and manage driver schedules
n
Coordinate import and export container movements
n
Communicate with drivers, customers and depots
n
Monitor collections and deliveries throughout the shift
n




Manage delays and changing operational requirements
n
Update transport systems and maintain accurate records
n
Ensure safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements are maintained
n
n
About You
n
Previous Fleet Control experience is highly regarded, but we're also interested in candidates with transferable transport experience, including drivers, allocators, transport coordinators and operations staff.
n
Ideally, You Will Have
n
n
Experience within transport, logistics or fleet operations
n
Container/wharf cartage knowledge – highly regarded
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
Confidence dealing with drivers and customers
n
Valuable knowledge of Sydney's transport network
n
Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
n
Ability to remain organised in a fast-paced environment
n
A reliable attitude and willingness to learn
n
