We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Risk, Compliance and Audit team as Manager, Conduct and Integrity.
n
This is a unique opportunity to drive enterprise-wide integrity initiatives, strengthen organisational culture, and lead the University's approach to professional standards, complaints management, fraud and corruption prevention, and conflicts of interest.
n
Working closely with senior leaders across the University, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Curtin continues to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency and accountability.
n
About the Role:
n
Reporting to the Director, Risk Compliance and Audit, you will provide strategic leadership and specialist expertise across Curtin's integrity framework.
n
You will lead a small team responsible for delivering advice, education, prevention and response activities relating to:
n
n
Skilled standards and conduct
n
Complaints management
n
Fraud and corruption prevention and response
n
Conflicts of interest
n
Integrity risk management and reporting
n
n
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires the ability to navigate complex and sensitive matters while building trusted relationships across the University and with external stakeholders.
n
Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria:
n
n
Significant experience in integrity, governance, compliance, investigations, complaints management, fraud and corruption prevention, or a related discipline.
n
Strong knowledge of contemporary integrity frameworks, professional standards and best-practice complaints management.
n
Demonstrated experience conducting or overseeing investigations and preparing high-quality reports and recommendations.
n
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
n
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
n
Proven leadership experience with a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
n
n
Experience within higher education, government or other large and complex organisations will be highly regarded.
n

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
n

This Continuous G08 level role attracts a remuneration of $122,699 - $130,758 + 17% superannuation.
