Drake Trades and Technical, a leader in recruitment for skilled trades, is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading manufacturing site in West Croydon, SA.

The Role
n
As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in keeping plant and production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping production moving. Key responsibilities include:

Completing preventative and planned maintenance across production equipment.
n
Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
n
Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before they become breakdowns.
n
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
n
Assist with machinery installation and equipment improvements.
n
Maintain spare parts and help fabricate components when required.
n
Record maintenance work accurately in SAP.
n
Work closely with the production team to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
n
Follow site safety and environmental procedures at all times.
n

About You
n
n
Cert III Mechanical Qualification.
n




3+ years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
n
Strong mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is highly regarded.
n
Welding, fabrication or basic machining skills are advantageous.
n
Comfortable working independently and making decisions under pressure.
n
Reliable, practical and safety focused, with a strong work ethic.
n
Clear communicator who works well with others.
n
