The Netball World Cup Sydney **** is seeking a highly organised and proactive Workforce & Office Coordinator to support the workforce, volunteer and office operations that will underpin the successful delivery of the Netball World Cup in ****.
n
This role will commence at 0.6 FTE through to mid-January ****, before transitioning to full-time as workforce mobilisation accelerates in the lead-up to tournament delivery.
n
About The Role
n
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, the Workforce & Office Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the LOC workforce and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the LOC office.
n
As the team expands towards event delivery, you will be the key point of coordination across workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, volunteer workforce operations and office administration.
n
This is a hands-on role that combines workforce coordination, stakeholder management and office operations in a dynamic, fast paced event environment.

Workforce & Volunteer Program Coordination
n
Role
n
A key focus of this role will be supporting the successful delivery of the tournament workforce and volunteer program. You will:
n
n
Act as the day-to-day liaison with the external Workforce & Volunteer Program provider.
n
Monitor workforce & volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training and deployment milestones.
n
Track workforce & volunteer metrics and provide reporting to support operational decision-making.
n
Support workforce & volunteer mobilisation, engagement initiatives and planning activities
n
Play a key role during tournament operations to help ensure workforce & volunteer plans are successfully delivered.
n
n
Recruitment & People Coordination
n
You will support the employee lifecycle across the growing LOC workforce by:
n
n
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate management, onboarding and offboarding, employment documentation, workforce communications, and maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
n
Support the growth and effectiveness of the LOC workforce through workforce reporting, organisational chart maintenance, workforce planning support, and the delivery of a positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
n
Support team engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
n
n
Office Coordination
n
You will help create a professional, collaborative and high-performing workplace by:
n
n
Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the LOC office.
n
Managing office supplies, facilities, equipment and workspace allocations.
n
Liaising with building management and service providers.
n
Coordinating office access, security passes and workplace logistics.
n
Supporting meetings, workshops, team events and staff functions.
n
Driving continuous improvements to office systems and processes.
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who combines exceptional organisation skills with a passion for supporting people and creating positive workplace experiences.

Essential
n
n
Experience in workforce coordination, HR administration, recruitment, office management or a related role
n
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
n
Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
n
High attention to detail and strong administration capability
n
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience working with workforce or HR systems
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience working within sport, major events or project-based organisations.
n
Knowledge of workforce management or recruitment systems
n
Understanding of Australian employment practices
n
Knowledge of how sporting Teams operate is advantageous
n
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
n
Ability to thrive in a quick-paced, high-profile event environment

This is a full-time role, based at Sydney Olympic Park, on a fixed-term basis through to September ****. Given the unique nature of the sports industry, and the domestic & global reach of our organisation, travelling and working outside of LOC HQ and traditional office hours may be required from time to time.
