A permanent full time teaching opportunity is available, commencing in Term 1, ****.
For the right candidate, a part time arrangement may also be considered.
Applications are invited from educators with a passion for teaching students with additional needs, who enjoy working collaboratively and who wish to be a part of a caring and creative school community.
Applicants must have demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and review effective individiualised education programs.
Experience working with students with a disability is desirable but not essential.
Teachers who are interested in developing their general teaching and learning skills within a Special Education context are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
A Pacific Group Teacher is a born-again Christian whose work is their worship.
They develop strong relationships based on Chrisitan beliefs and values with the School community.
They maintain a high standard of professionalism, both in the classroom and the wider community.
They are required to implement the School's vision and mission and to be able to work collaboratively in a team, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
To be effective in this position you will:
Demonstrate a commitment to the pastoral care of students
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
Ability to organise and direct teaching support staff
Sound technology skills
Be committed to your own professional learning and growth

As a Teacher you are responsible for:
Creating a positive learning environment which stimulates learning and promotes excellence where students are both challenged and supported
Actively engaging in opportunities to teach Christianity whilst maintaining good classroom management skills
Attending to the Curriculum, Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting expectations outlined by the school
Attending to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students and staff that exemplifies the mark of a Christian
Actively engaging in Professional Development in accordance with School and Government guidelines
Adhering to additional professional expectations that are required for teaching staff
