An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller and operations teams, you will play a key role in managing high-volume invoicing while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities. This hands-on position is ideal for someone looking to further develop their accounting career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end invoicing in a medium to high-volume environment.
n
Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate job and billing information.
n
Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies.
n
Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
n




Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
n
Assist with general accounting duties and finance administration.
n
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or similar finance role.
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume workplace.
n
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
n
Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
n
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
n
Experience using MYOB.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
