Our client is a Brisbane-based growing agricultural technology company in the bovine reproductive technology space, looking for an experienced Bovine Reproduction Specialist. This hands-on role involves performing Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) and Embryo Transfer (ET) procedures across commercial and research programs, working in the field and the lab.
Key responsibilities
Perform OPU and ET procedures to a high technical and welfare standard
Prepare equipment and consumables for field visits
Conduct field-based lab work: embryo grading, thawing, loading, slow freezing
Maintain records and report back to the lab team
Manage stock and assist with equipment maintenance
Support technical training and animal studies
What you'll bring
5+ years' experience, including commercial OPU and ET
Low-stress livestock handling experience (essential)
Degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
Robust communication skills and attention to detail
What to expect
Frequent travel across rural and regional Australia
Occasional weekends, holidays, and early mornings, including on-call support
