The Role:

You'll join our team at the Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre, as part of the mental health services team and provide a range of clinical support to adults in our care including:
n
n
Conducting independent risk assessments of harm to self or others, including acute or chronic risk
n
Providing psychoeducation related to mental health conditions, symptoms and treatment options to individuals
n
Delivering individual or group-based skill acquisition focused interventions aimed at developing coping skills and building resilience
n
n
The Location:

LVCC is Queensland's newest and largest correctional facility, opened in September ****. LVCC is a contemporary, fit-for-purpose facility and has a strong focus on rehabilitation, emphasising mental health services, substance abuse treatment, education and vocational training.
