About the Role
n
An exciting chance exists for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a growing and diversified organisation operating across multiple business entities. This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the group, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, reporting accuracy, and business performance.

Duties
n
n
Manage day-to-day financial operations across multiple business entities.
n
Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing functions.
n
Lead month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
n
Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
n
Manage BAS, superannuation, industry-specific compliance obligations, and statutory reporting requirements.
n
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support strong financial performance.
n
Oversee supplier payments and customer receivables, including collections and financing arrangements.
n
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across the group.
n
Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve efficiencies and minimise risk.
n
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and internal governance frameworks.
n
Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
n
Lead, mentor, and support finance team members to ensure high levels of performance and development.
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior accounting position.
n
Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
n
Experience managing month-end reporting processes, reconciliations, and statutory obligations.
n
Strong knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital analysis.
n
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
n
Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and manage finance teams.
n
High level communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Exposure to BI and reporting tools will be highly regarded.
