Job Description
We are currently partnering with a leading AI cloud and high-performance computing infrastructure provider to appoint an IT Support Senior Manager to join their growing Sydney operations team.
n
This organisation builds, owns and operates large-scale AI and cloud infrastructure powered by 100% renewable energy, with data centre operations spanning North America and Australia. As the business continues to scale rapidly, they are seeking an experienced IT leader to drive end-user support, workplace technology, and IT operations across the organisation.

The Role:
n
This position will play a key leadership role in managing and enhancing enterprise IT support services, including:
n
n
Lead and mentor the IT Support team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional end-user support across the business.
n
Own and continuously improve IT service management processes, ensuring incidents, requests and escalations are resolved efficiently and within agreed service levels.
n
Manage the administration and support of core enterprise technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management platforms and collaboration tools.
n
Oversee workplace technology, device lifecycle management, software deployment and user
onboarding/offboarding
processes.
n
Drive IT operational excellence through process improvement, automation and the implementation of best practices.
n
Partner with business stakeholders and executive leadership to understand technology requirements and deliver high-quality support outcomes.
n
Support cybersecurity, compliance and governance initiatives by ensuring adherence to organisational policies and industry standards.
n
Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers and technology partners.
n
Lead IT infrastructure and workplace technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations and new technology deployments.
n
Develop and maintain IT documentation,
operational procedures and knowledge base resources.
n
Monitor team performance, service metrics and user satisfaction, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
n
n
Desired Qualifications:
n
n
7+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration or IT operations, including leadership or people management responsibilities.
n
Strong experience supporting enterprise Microsoft environments, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and Azure services.
n
Proven experience leading IT Service Desk or End User Computing functions within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
n
Strong understanding of ITIL principles, service management frameworks and operational best practices.
n
Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
n
Familiarity with networking fundamentals, cloud technologies and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business, including executive leadership.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, manage competing priorities and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
n
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
n
Relevant industry certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Azure or similar) highly regarded.
n
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
