We've already partnered with the business to appoint their first Senior Security Engineer and Head of IT/Cyber Security. Now, we're looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer / Security Specialist with deep Kubernetes security expertise to play a key role in building and scaling their platform security capability.

This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity to define how security is approached across a modern, high-performance computing environment, with significant ownership, technical influence and the prospect to build rather than simply maintain.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Lead platform security initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments, including risk assessment, infrastructure hardening and secure access.
n
Own and define the security standard for a Managed Kubernetes Service supporting high-performance computing workloads.
n
Apply Kubernetes security best practices.
n
Build and strengthen Kubernetes supply chain security, including image signing, vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement.
n
Embed security into infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
n
Evaluate and introduce AI/ML-powered security tooling.
n
Partner across engineering and technology teams.
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
5+ years' experience across Platform Security,



DevSecOps, SRE or a closely related discipline.
n
Strong hands‐on expertise securing Kubernetes environments.
n
Experience with Kubernetes supply chain security: tools such as Cosign, Trivy and/or Kyverno.
n
Experience implementing IaC security and automated scanning, with tools such as Checkov or Snyk.
n
Understanding of secrets management and identity security.
n
Familiar with security standards, frameworks and secure engineering principles.
n
Competent scripting or programming ability.
n
Fundamentals across Linux, networking and distributed systems.
n
A hands‐on mindset with the ability to operate strategically.
n

Bonus points for:
n
experience working within a high-growth technology or startup environment.
n
