About The Larrakeyah Health Centre
Larrakeyah Health Centre is located at the Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin City.
Larrakeyah Defence Precinct is a unique tri-service Defence base directly supporting ADF operations & training.
It is the home port of HMAS Coonawarra for Navy Patrol Boats and two Army Landing Craft.
The facility has a routine dependency of **** personnel which surges every 3 months to conduct pre and post deployment medicals.
The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, mental health, dental, physiotherapy and pharmaceutical services.




Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).
What You'll Do
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
Ability to work a 24/7 roster
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
