Director / Associate Director, Funds Management

Our client, a rapidly growing real estate private credit investment manager, is looking to appoint a Director or Associate Director to join their Funds Management team.
n
A hands on role at the centre of the business, covering portfolio management, fund operations and investor engagement across the firm's real estate credit funds, working closely with a small team of associates.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and monitor fund portfolios, including NAVs, asset liquidity and exposure across the balance sheet
n
Lead fund updates, information memoranda and DDQs across wholesale and private client channels
n
Oversee capital allocation processes and support current fund launches
n
Manage warehouse facilities
n
Maintain comfort across the capital stack,



from senior debt through mezzanine and preferred equity to ordinary equity
n
Build and manage investor relationships, supporting capital raising activity
n
Stay genuinely hands on with the team, reviewing and approving rather than purely overseeing
n
Identify and drive improvements to existing processes and structures
n

Requirements
n
n
Solid experience in funds management, portfolio management or investment management within real estate credit, private credit or a related asset class
n
Comfortable operating across a diverse capital stack
n
Strong stakeholder management and investor facing experience
n
A hard working, prudent self starter who takes ownership
n
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
