Our client is a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Western Sydney, NSW.

About the role:

The Business Development Manager's role is to grow the Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Transport, and Supply Chain business. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for achieving all budgets, targets, and key objectives by carrying out business growth strategies and policies, while promoting the company's total Supply Chain Solutions services and capabilities in a professional manner.

Responsbilities:
Prospect for potential current clients, and cold call as appropriate within the market and geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities




Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional networks Identify potential clients, mapping out the decision makers within the client organisation
Perform market research and build relationships with recent clients
Collaborate on pricing solutions and services offered to customers
Work with team to develop proposals which address the client's needs, concerns, and objectives

About you:
Industry experience in Contract Logistics/Supply Chain & Logistics/Transport/Warehousing
Proven track record in building professional customer relationships and business opportunities from current and existing customers
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present professionally to customers and industry professionals in one-on-one and group forum settings
Strong time management and planning skills
