About the Role
n
The Commercial Director will play a pivotal leadership role across a broad range of commercial advisory engagements within the renewable energy market.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading the development of offtake and route-to-market strategies for renewable energy projects.
n
Advising clients on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), energy procurement and contracting strategies.
n
Overseeing competitive tender processes including EOI and BAFO programs.
n
Supporting complex commercial negotiations and strategic transaction decisions.
n
Providing market insights relating to electricity markets, renewable energy certificates and energy transition trends.
n
Leading client relationships and originating new business opportunities.
n




Mentoring and developing a team of commercial and advisory professionals.
n
Working closely with financial advisory specialists on project transactions, acquisitions and capital raising activities.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is likely to bring:

Significant experience within energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, commercial advisory, investment banking, corporate advisory or related sectors.

Strong understanding of Australian electricity markets and renewable energy commercial structures.
n
Experience negotiating or advising on PPAs, offtake agreements or major commercial contracts.
n
Demonstrated ability to originate business and manage senior client relationships.
n
Strong commercial judgement and strategic problem-solving capability.
n
Experience leading teams and driving business growth.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
